Seekers of the Sword Channel (Sword Channel Saga Book 2)
About
The Sword Channel Saga continues in Book 2. Abran’s warparty was instrumental in defeating the armies sent against the Kitambrin outpost in Norgna, but the man who stole their Sword Channel escaped and headed south. The warparty, aided by Jalinda’s ability to detect Power sources and her ability to transport herself and her warparty up to two hundred miles at a time, set off in pursuit. The questions are who stole the Sword Channel, how did he do it, and why?
As the warparty learned in Book 1, the Trebifanian Empire and the country of Kitambrin destroyed each other nearly six hundred years ago, changing the world’s climate in the process and leaving the world without the Channels and Receptors that had brought prosperity, tempered by inequality. Kitambrin had outposts throughout the part of the world that had benefited from Kitambrin’s Channels and Receptors. Those outposts still exist. Descendants of Kitambrins still have the Discipline, which allow them greater control over their bodies, but lost Channels and Receptors, which can be used by those who have the Discipline.
As the warparty travels the lands, they encounter new people, including new Kitambrin outposts. Piece by piece, the warparty learns the answers to their questions, but at great cost. They learn that their mission is not just to retrieve the Sword Channel. There are forces at work that threaten the whole world. It is up to the warparty to meet that threat.
